Anti-Virus Software from Europe and Elsewhere Suspect
The NSA has been intercepting and reverse engineering anti-virus software from the following non-US-UK-Australian-New Zealand-Canadian Firms. This information was revealed by Edward Snowden and published recently by a Internet Site called “The Intercept.”
The purpose of the project called CAMBERDADA was to make sure that these anti-virus software packages were not introducing new viruses or letting certain virus through. The following companies were being targeted, according to the PowerPoint.

- Viritpor – Italy
- Fsb-antivirus – France
- Checkpoint – Israel
- Acrabit – Poland
- Nod32 – Slovakia
- Antiy – China
- DrWeb – Russia
- AVG – Czech Republic
- K7computing – India
- Spy-Emergency – Slovakia
- Eset – Slovakia
- Avast – Czech Republic
- Emsisoft – Austria
Over 500 Malware Viruses have been discovered since 2009, according to documents release by Snowden. The document which is presented in PowerPoint Format also goes on to describe the process for capture.
